1. Applications are invited from interested candidates to work as a Research fellow/associate (1 Position) under a project to develop retinal organoids for inherited genetic disorders and studying mechanisms of ocular disease. The position is purely on a temporary basis with the possibility for further extension and to register for PhD upon fulfilling the necessary requirements.

Name of the post: Research Fellow/associate

Duration: Initially for one year and can be extended by two or more years.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Bio medical Science 

Experience: Candidates with prior laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques as well as a basic understanding of genes and mutations is mandatory. Previous experience with stem cells, signal transduction and animal tissue experiments is a plus.

The role: The post holder will be primarily responsible to perform primary cell culture, immortalized cell culture, plasmid and vector production, vector transduction in vitro, data analysis, clinical sample processing and their bio-banking and participate in all the laboratory activities. Candidate will need to undertake common laboratory duties as responsibilities of this post. Appropriate training will be provided to the candidate to fulfil the said role.

Other selection criteria:

 Interest in working toward a PhD degree in a specialist discipline
 A team player with excellent communication skills, including the ability to write scientific text and present data
 Experience of working in a research team and contributing ideas for new research projects.

Name of the post: Research Fellow/associate

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Bio medical Science 

Experience: Candidates with prior laboratory experience in a biology wet lab, aseptic procedures, protein and RNA analysis is mandatory. Previous experience with biomarker analysis, flow cytometry, ELISA, quantitative PCR, mammalian cell culture and animal experiments is a plus.

The role: The post holder will be primarily responsible to perform multiplexed biomarker analysis, clinical sample processing and their bio-banking, Flow Cytometry, custom ELISA, cell culture, molecular signaling experiments, data analysis including statistics and participate in all the laboratory activities. Candidate will need to undertake common laboratory duties as responsibilities of this post. Appropriate training will be provided to the candidate to fulfil the said role.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Bio medical Science

The role: The post holder will be primarily responsible to perform proteomic analysis (LC-MS/MS), clinical sample processing, tissue processing and their bio-banking, immunoblotting, ICC/IF, ELISA, primary cell culture, large scale data analyses, pathway analyses, statistics and participate in all the laboratory activities. Candidate will need to undertake common laboratory duties as responsibilities of this post.

Appropriate training will be provided to the candidate to fulfil the said role.
