The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites applications for Walk-in-interview for engaging Junior Research Fellow on Contract For Project entitled “Taxonomic and Ecological studies on Arachnids of Trans and Western Himalaya, India” purely on contractual basis. The EQ, DQ and other details of the is provided below : 

Engagement Positions Junior Research Fellow - One 

Essential Qualification (EQ) Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Science /Zoology/Environmental Sciences/Ecology with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in any of above subjects from a recognized university. 

Desirable Qualification (DQ) Relevant research experience on arachnids and field experience in Himalayan region. 

Age Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules. 

Emoluments Rs. 31,000 + HRA 

Duration One year 5 

Location of Project site Indian Trans Himalayan region 

Funding agency MoEFCC 

The candidate should report at Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Chandrabani, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, with original application and documents at 0900hrs on 10th January 2020 for scrutiny of documents followed by Written Test and Interview on the same day at 1130 hrs onwards.
