One Project Associate position is available in a Government of Karnataka funded project at Center for Climate Change, Environmental Management and Policy Research Institute (EMPRI), Bengaluru. The selected Project Associate will work on different bee species from Karnataka. The project would be dealing with the following components behaviour studies, GIS, camera monitoring, climate change and fieldwork to collect information across Karnataka etc.
Prior knowledge of field experience, honey bees and excellent observational skills for long hours are required. They should know or be willing to learn these and converse in Kannada. The ideal applicant will also be familiar with basic statistics and possess good analytical and writing skills. Applicants for the position should have a Masters’
Degree in a relevant field – Entomology/Zoology/ Apiculture/GIS. The salary will be around 25000/- as per the institute norms.
