Walk-in-interviews will be held in Institute of Forest Biodiversity (IFB), Dulapally, Kompally (S.O.), Hyderabad-500 100 from 17th February, 2020 & 18th February, 2020 at 10.00 AM onwards. For the positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs), Junior Project Fellows (JPFs), Project Assistant (PA) and Field Assistant in the following research projects purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project period or till completion of eligible period as per ICFRE norms. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to attend the walk-ininterview for the following positions: 

i. NAME OF THE POSITION: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW 

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 04 

1 Study of climate driven effects on Indian forests through long term ecological monitoring (AICRP-ICFRE) PI- Dr. Ratnaker Jauhari, IFS,CF 4 

Essential: First Class M.Sc. Environmental Science/M.Sc Forestry/M.Sc Botany 

Desirable (i) Specialization/courses or credits in Ecology 5 Years NET Qualified (JRF) 

Rs.31000/- Per Month(Fixed) OR Non-NET(JPF) Rs.16000/- +HRA as admissible 

Essential: First Class M.Sc. Botany /Forestry 

Desirable: (i) specialization/courses or credits in Taxonomy 

3 Years 

Essential: First Class M.sc Ag Soil Science/M.Sc Agricultural chemistry/M.Sc Soil Science/M.Sc Chemistry 

3 Years 

Essential: First Class M.Sc. Agricultural Entomology/M.Sc Zoology/ M.Sc Entomology 

Desirable: (i)specialization/courses or credits in entomology , experience in entomology 

3 Years 

ii. NAME OF THE POST: JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 6 

1 Testing and deployment of clones and seed sources of Casuarina for different planting environments and end-use applications.(AICRPICFRE) PI-Shri Pravin H. Chawhaan, Scientist-G 1 

Essential: First Class Master’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture (Agronomy/Plant Breeding)/ Agroforestry/Forestry/ Botany (Specialization in Plant Genetics) 

5 Years 

Rs.16000/- per month+ HRA as admissible 

2 Preparation of Forest Soil Health Cards under different Forest Vegetations in all the Forest Divisions of India (AICRP-ICFRE) PI-Dr.G.R.S.Reddy, Sc-G Co-Pi- Smt R.Asha Kumari, ACTO 2 

Essential: First Class in M.Sc. in Soil Science /Chemistry/ Plant Science/Bio-technology 

3 Years 

Rs.16000/- per month+ HRA as admissible 

3 Eucalyptus Improvement (AICRP-ICFRE) PI- Dr.S.Pattanaik, Scientist-F 1 

Essential: First Class M.Sc. in Forestry/Agriculture/Plant Science 

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of working in the relevant research Projects 

5 Years 

Rs.16000/- per month+ HRA as admissible 

4 Sustainable management of NTFPs through conservation and value addition(AICRPICFRE) PI- Shri Pankaj Singh Scientist-C Co-PI’s Shri. Pravin H Chawhaan, ScG Dr. Pattanaik Sc-F Dr. Abha Rani Gupta,Sc-F 1 

Essential: First Class M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Chemistry of natural product/Medicinal Plant/ Chemistry OR Essential: First Class Masters in Pharmacy(M.Pharmacy) 

Desirable: (i) Experience in extraction/isolation of Medicinal/Natural Product (ii) knowledge of Statistics is preferable 

5 Years 

Rs.16000/- per month+ HRA as admissible 1 

Essential: First Class M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry /Agriculture/Environmental Science/ Chemistry/Natural Products.
