The Discipline of Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) at
IIT Indore invites applications from highly motivated and researchoriented students for admission to its PhD Program for the Autumn
Semester of AY 2020-21 as per the below-mentioned categories of
admission. Candidates are strongly advised to visit the profiles of the

for the PhD program.
The application deadline is 13th March
2020.
Application Procedure
Indian Students:
Candidates must apply ONLINE through our website
(http://academic.iiti.ac.in:8080/nregistration.jsp). This will
generate a unique application number for each applicant.
Application Fee: Kindly refer to the main PhD Advertisement of
the Institute available at http://academic.iiti.ac.in/phdadvt.php
After submitting the application online, the eligible candidate has
to bring the signed hard copy of the application along with
SBI collect receipt, recent photograph, self-attested
relevant certificates (for SW candidates: NOC,
experience certificate, last 3 months salary slips and
Employer's PAN card) at the time of Written Test/Interview.
In case a candidate wishes to apply in more than one discipline
then separate application must be filled for each discipline.

The shortlisted candidates must arrange to send minimum two letters of
recommendation directly to dpgcbsbe@iiti.ac.in or provide in a sealed envelope
before appearing for the interview.
Mere fulfillment of the essential qualifications does not guarantee admission in PhD program
in the Discipline of BSBE. The selection will be based on the overall performance, which may
include interview, academic background, suitability for research in the chosen field/area,
research aptitude, communication skills, etc.
