Junior Research Fellow — 1 position
Project Title: “Development of Novel Auto Circulate Bio-Electrochemical Reactor (AutoCirBER) for Energy Positive Continuous Wastewater Treatment”.
Funded By: Department of Science and Technology (Govt. Of India) (DST- ASEAN- India Collaborative R&D scheme)
Project Coordinator: Dr. Abhilasha Singh Mathuriya
Age limitation: 28 Years; Age relaxation: According to Govt. of India rules.
Duration of the project: One year six months
Fellowship:  As per DST norms (Rs. 31,000+HRA (8%)=33,480/- per month,  consolidated). The JRF can pursue Ph.D. through this project.
Essential Qualification:
(i) M.Sc. in Environmental Science or Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Microbiology) or Physics/Material Science from recognized University / Institute OR B.E. / B. Tech.  / M.E. / M. Tech. (Biotechnology / Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering) from a recognized university/institute
(ii) NET / GATE / some other pertinent equivalent of test qualified.
(iii) Candidate should have a valid Indian passport, and willing to work in abroad labs. Project involves work in INDONESIA (one month) and in THAILAND (one month) every year.   
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment plants and electrochemical techniques.
Job Requirement: The project will also involve some field sampling and surveys of wastewater treatment plants.
Tenure of Fellowship: Up to maximum 1.5 years based on satisfactory performance, but in no case beyond the cessation of funding or operation of this project by the project financing agency.
