OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE This short course will provide the participants an opportunity to understand the ongoing crisis in relation to environmental deterioration, approaches being adopted to mitigate the risks, the need to look for eco-friendly means for sustainability, and the role of microorganisms to address such issues. The highlight of the course will be hands-‐on training to participants on state-‐of-‐the-‐art techniques in the area.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The course is designed for faculty members and Ph.D. scholars from TEQIP III Institutes with post graduate degree in Life Sciences or allied areas.

WHAT THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE OFFERED?
1.Study material related to lectures and laboratory training
2. Travel allowance with fare limited to 3rd AC/AC Chair car or the entitled class or actual, whichever is least.
3. Free boarding and lodging on twin-‐sharing basis (Note: there will be no financial liability of the institute for participants staying outside on their own)
4. Above all, 5 days of invigorating, scientific brain storming to tickle your grey cells.
