Applications are invited for the position of 1 JRF in the discipline of Earth Science (IIT- Gn) under the following project: Development of Environmentally and Economically Sustainable Composite Solution for Municipal Solid Waste Mangement
The desired qualifications are as follows:
Broad Subject Area: Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Civil engineering, Environmental science, and engineering
Specialization: Nanoscience, Water Resource Management, Microbiology, Environmental microbiology,
Minimum Qualification:
M.Sc./M.Tech. With or without NET/Gate qualification and knowledge in Environmental science/Nanotechnology/Environmental Engineering/Civil Engineering/Biotechnology and related area.
Salary: With out NET/Gate: INR 18, 720/- only (consolidated) With NET/Gate: INR 25,000/- only (consolidated)
Candidates with expertise and/or interest in nanotechnology, microbiology, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, molecular biology, and engineering are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate is expected to carry out research in conjunction with Dr. Manish Kumar. At the same time, it is also expected that the candidate will contribute in other academic activities of the institute. The position is for 1 year and may be extended upto 1 more year based on the availability of funding and performance. Dr. Manish Kumar is a faculty at the Earth Sciences Discipline, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IITGN), Gujarat.
