IITH Biomolecule Production JRF Vacancy


Walk-in interview for JRF position # 2 in a sponsored R&D project (Candidate may be enrolled for Ph.D. program in August, 2020*) 

 We are looking for a young, creative and enthusiastic candidate to contribute in a DBT sponsored research project in the area of “Application of artificial intelligence and optimal control in optimizing protein/vaccine production in bioreactor system: A step towards affordable biomolecule production.” 

Positions available: 

1 JRF (Junior Research Fellow) 

For Period: More than 2 years 

Essential Qualification: M Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 75% marks (CGPA 7.5 out of 10) with a GATE score. Those who are in their final semester of M.Tech. program and expecting their result by July 31, 2019 and have a GATE score are also eligible. 

Age: Not more than 30 years as on March 31, 2020 

Desirable: Detailed knowledge and experience in machine learning and programming (Fortran 77, Python etc.), Basic theories and Chemical Engg. as a whole. 

*Upon qualifying the set criteria by the department of Chem Engg, applicable candidates may register for PhD program also. 

Monthly stipend: As per the revised GOI norm + HRA (if stays outside the IITH campus).
