Assistant and Research Associate Positions (Cell Culture)
About

OncoSeek Bio is an Innovative,
leading-edge translational Research based
Biotechnology Start-up Company focused on developing personalized in-vitro
and in-vivo modalities using stem cell / patient-derived tumors (PDX platforms)
for various cancers and other diseases. We enable the identification of
personalized care and screening of drug molecules for re-purposing towards
therapy using our PDX and Organoid models.
The Research Assistant (Masters) and Research Associate (Ph.D)
(Cell culture) will be responsible for applying cell and molecular biology
techniques in establishing and characterizing spheroids and organoids. The candidate
should be capable of designing, troubleshooting, and executing experiments
independently while employing critical thinking and organizational skills. This
laboratory-based position requires performing experiments/assays on a daily
basis, followed by analysis and interpretation of the data. You should be able
to communicate effectively, be creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Duties
Include
Cell
and tissue culture work
Design, set-up, and execute experiments independently and/or with
guidance from team/project leader.
Routine
cell culture assays (Immunostaining, protein quantification etc.)
Clear
and Organized data collection, management, interpretation, and presentation.
About
You
Ph.D (for Research Associate) and MSc (for Research Assistant) in
cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, Biotechnology or closely related
science with 0-2 years of cell culture experience.
Experience
in maintaining a variety of cell lines.
Experience
in creating and maintaining spheroids and organoids is a plus.
Hands
on experience with various cell-based assays (viability, immunofluorescence,
growth assaysetc).
Proficient
in Microsoft Office and other graphing software (GraphPad Prismetc).
Good
practical knowledge in day to day lab operations
Capable
of preparing and maintaining organized laboratory notebook entries containing
detailed experimental designs, data, and results.
Comfortable
in a team environment which includes a lot of scientific collaboration and
group-based projects with other team members.
Ability
to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, including meeting deadlines.
