The ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology invites applications for the post of
Project Scientist – B (Medical / Non – Medical) (Site Coordinator) purely on contract basis

NON MEDICAL
1
st Class Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology /
Public Health / Epidemiology from a recognized university with
2 years research experience in related field
OR

nd Class Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology /
Public Health / Epidemiology with Ph.D. from a recognized
University
OR
BDS/B.V.Sc. degree with one year research experience in
related field
Desirable
Qualification and
Experience
1) PhD in relevant subject
2) Experience of health-related research, including supervision
and data collection
3) Knowledge of computer applications/data management
4) Experience in serology and Molecular biology techniques
5) Proficient to read, write and speak in Hindi and English
Age Limit UR - 35 Years
Emoluments Non-Medical – Rs.48,000/- + HRA per month
Nature of Duties
a) Provide technical and administrative support for planning,
implementation and coordination
b) Coordinate with the Lead research institute/stakeholders in
the implementation of the project
c) Supervise data collection/project implementation
d) Prepare reports on status of the project implementation
e)Organize meetings/workshops/training programs
f) Any other work assigned by the Director/PI/Co-PI / Superior
officer
