Applications are invited from suitable candidate for filling up the following positions at
National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
TWO positions of Senior Research Fellowship under ICAR NASF funded project entitled
“Molecular biological studies on porcine reproductive & respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus
in pig population of North East Region of India for development of sustainable diagnostics and
vaccine” Dr. Madhuri Subbiah (CCPI), Scientist-D.
Fellowship amount: Rs.31, 000/-+ HRA (if applicable) as per ICAR guidelines.
Eligibility: Master degree in relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
Candidates having post-graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and
2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as
mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dates 13th July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn.
6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th
January 2019. However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their
eligibility.
Desired Experience: Candidate having previous work experience in the areas of Biochemistry,
Immunology and Molecular Biology are preferred, desired expertise include molecular
cloning, small animals handling, cell and virus culture and basic molecular biology techniques.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government
instructions)

attending the interview.
