Description: This project aims to examine long term ecological
changes in various wild birds across India, in collaboration with
various partners. Project involves long durations of field work, while
working in tough conditions to capture and collect blood samples from

Minimum
qualifications
Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent with minimum 60% marks
or equivalent grade with 6 months of experience in conducting field
work.
Desirable:
• Candidates having worked on birds, with mist-netting and bird
handling experience
• Candidates with 4-wheeler driving experience.
Fellowship
• Candidates who have qualified any of the national level test like
CSIR / UGC – NET / GATE etc. with valid score in score card
are eligible for remuneration of Rs. 31000/- + 8% HRA per
month (Consolidated).
• Others will be eligible for Rs.20,000/- + 8% HRA per month or
as according to GoI norms, based on their academic
qualification.
