Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellow position (PDF), “Development of mass spectrometry-based molecular diagnostics for cancer and infectious diseases” in The Center for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine, Yenepoya University, Mangalore

 Qualifications for JRF:

1. Ph.D. in any field of Life Sciences

2. Experience in sequence analysis, proteomics and genomics is desirable

 

The Center for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine (CSBMM; http://csbmm.yenepoya.res.in/) a part of Yenepoya Research Center, which is focussed on applications of high-resolution mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics to address biomedical research questions.

 

Selected Postdoctoral fellow (PDF) will work in multidisciplinary teams led by Dr. Keshava Prasad at CSBMM in collaboration with clinicians of Yenepoya Medical College and Hospital. PDF will be extensively trained in cell culture work, signaling pathways, sample prep, high-resolution mass spectrometry and data analysis for proteomic and metabolomic experiments, maintenance of HPLC, and a number of molecular biology techniques in context to cancer and infectious diseases.
