UNIVERSITY OF ALLAHABAD 

Application are invited for candidates for filling up one JRF position on plain paper giving complete copy of all certificates. 

Funding agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi. 

Project Title: “Impact of Mass bathing on the natural microbiota of the river Ganges; a concern to human health” 

Stipend: 31000 + HRA p.m. (2nd year); 35000 + HRA p.m. (3rd year) 

Duration: 2 years 

Qualification: Minimum M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life Science with first division, preferably with NET 

Desirable: Candidates with good English language communication and writing skills and willingness to travel to different sites and collect water samples and some work experience in laboratory techniques such as microbial culturing & characterization. 

Application must reach the undersigned by 4th September, 2020. After screening of applications only suitable candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid. This position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
