Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) in the attached format (Form B, must fill the items in bold) for the following position in the SERB funded project entitled “Elucidation of structural and functional properties of family-18 CAZyme(s) …….bioactive chitooligosaccharides”.

Project Assistant

Fellowship/ Honorarium/ Stipend Rs. Rs. 20,000/-

Tenure of the Post 06 months (Up to April-2021) (may be extended depending on performance)

Essential Qualifications M.Sc. in Molecular Microbiology/ Life Sciences/or equivalent with at least 70% aggregate marks.

Desirable Qualifications Candidates having lab experience in molecular microbiology, gene cloning, protein production using bacterial and Pichia over expression systems and protein purification techniques will be preferred. Experience in protein structure modeling and docking will be an added advantage. The candidates with prior work experience in the similar/relevant area will be preferred in the first screening.

Age limit 28 years

Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and they have no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test / skill test or at the time of joining.
