Advertisement for the Post of a JUNIOR RESEARCH
FELLOW (JRF) under CSIR Sponsored Research Project
Applicationsare invited from
Indian citizens for the post of a JRF in the following project at Central
Inter-Disciplinary Research Facility (CIDRF - Recognized by DSIR), Sri Balaji
Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Puducherry. Selected candidate may be
permitted to register for the Ph.D. program of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, subject
to the fulfillment of the requirements.
Project Title:
Lipidomic Study to Identify Potential Platelet
Lipids as Biomarker for the Early Prediction of Severe Dengue and to assess the
Role of Lipids in Platelet Dysfunction and Dengue Pathogenesis
Duration of the project:3 years
Tenure: Initially for 1 year (likely to be extended beyond 1 year based on satisfactory performance). The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc./BE/B.Tech in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics /Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life sciencesor equivalent degreewith at least 55% marks and should have qualified NET/GATE.
Age Maximum 28 years
DESIRABLE:
Candidates with experience in Proteomics
techniques, Mass Spectroscopy, HPLC, and biostatistics, and manuscript writing
will be given preference.

Note:
(1) JRF stipends as per the CSIR norms.
(2) No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
(3) Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically Handicapped candidates.
(4) Since this is a multi-institutional project, the candidate is expected to coordinate the work between the Central Inter-Disciplinary Research Facility (CIDRF), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry, and CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad.
