Applications are invited to attend the Interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing)
for the following posts in DBT funded network project “Characterization of Chickpea
Germplasm Resource to Accelerate Genomics-assisted Crop Improvement” at NBPGR,
New Delhi and NBPGR RS Shimla as mentioned below.
Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, candidates may choose for interview either inperson or through online process.
The eligible candidates (appearing in-person as well as

Essential qualification:
(i) Master's Degree in Biotechnology/Molecular
Biology/ Life Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering/ Technology with specialization in
bioinformatics from a recognized University or
equivalent; and
(ii) Eight years' experience in Research and
Development in Industrial and Academic
Institutions or Science and Technology
Organizations and Scientific activities and
services
Or
(i) Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology/Molecular
Biology/ Life Sciences from a recognized
University; and
(ii) Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic
Institutions or Science and Technology
Organizations and Scientific activities and
services
Desirable Qualification:
I. Experience in analyses of high throughput
SNP genotyping, re-sequencing and
transcriptomics data
II. Publications in high impact journals
Upper age limit: 40 years
