Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following posts to be filled in Bharati
Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology &
Biotechnology, Pune-43.
1. Assistant Professor in Microbiology 01
2. Assistant Professor in Bioinformatic 01
3. Assistant Professor in Biochemistry 01
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the 7 point
scale with latter grades O, A. B. C. D. E & F at the Master's Degree level in the relevant
subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
As per the G.R. dated 12/08/2009, National Eligibility Test (NET) / State Eligibility Test (SET)
shall be compulsory for appointment at the entry level and subject to the exemption to the
degree of Ph.D. in respect of those persons obtaining the award through a process of
registration, Course-work and external evaluation, as have been / or may be laid down by the
UGC through its regulations from time to time.
Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master's level for the
S.C. / S.T. Category / * Handicapped candidates.
Reservations are applicable as per rules.
The scales of pay allowances and other service conditions will be as laid down by Bharati
Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune-30.
