A walk in interview will be held for selection of one post of Junior Research Fellow under a CSB funded research project mentioned below. The candidates will be selected based on their qualifications, experiences and performances in the personal interview which will be held on 17.02.2021 (10.00 am onwards). The post is purely on temporary basis for the project period only. 

Project title : Inter and Intra specific hybridization for improvement of Eri silkworm, Samia ricini (Donovan) 

Funding agency : Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India 

Project duration : 4 years (March 2020 – Feb. 2024) 

Stipend / Fellowship : Rs. 20,000/- with NET/GATE and Rs. 15,000/- for others plus HRA 

Qualification : First Class M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences / Agriculture. 

Desirable Qualification /experiences : Specialization / working experience on breeding and genetics. Preference will be given to the candidates having NET / GATE qualification and research experience in Sericulture or relevant field. 

Age limit: 28 years (as on 17.02.2021) 

Interested candidates may attend the Walk-in-interview to be held at the institute on 17.02.2021 (Wednesday) from 10.00am onwards. The upper age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged candidates as per rules. Candidates must produce the original documents (mark sheets, certificates, publication etc) at the time of document verification / interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
