An Online Interview using the video conferencing facility for the engagement of Senior Research Fellow for ICAR-IIMR, New Delhi Unit purely on contractual basis, is scheduled to be held on the date and time as mentioned below. The eligibility criteria and other terms & conditions are as under:- 

1. Senior Research Fellow : 

Project Titled: CRP on Molecular Breeding CRP-MB 

PI: Dr. Chikkappa G Karjagi, Sr Scientist ICAR-IIMR New Delhi 

Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines

(Desirable: Experience in use of molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills).

Rs. 31,000/- fixed per month plus 24% HRA, as applicable 18 to 35 years (with Relaxation as per rule) Till 30th June 2021, however likely to be extended

Date: 10.06.2021  Time:10.00 A.M onwards 

2. Senior Research Fellow : 

Project Titled: Strengthening of DUS test centres under central sector scheme for implementation of PVP legislation funded by PPVFRA (DUS) 

PI: Dr. Chikkappa G Karjagi, Sr Scientist ICAR-IIMR New Delhi

Essential: Master's Degree in genetics/plant breeding/genetics and plant breeding/plant genetic resources/plant biotechnology/biotechnology/ life sciences/ biochemistry/ botany with 4 years/5 years of bachelor's degree OR Post graduate in genetics/plant breeding/genetics and plant breeding/plant genetic resources/plant biotechnology/biotechnology/ life sciences/ biochemistry/ botany with 3 years of bachelor's degree and 2 years master's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification. 

Desirable: Research experience in morphological and molecular characterization of maize germplasm Rs. 31,000/- fixed per month plus 24% HRA, as applicable 18 to 35 years (with Relaxation as per rule) Till 31st July 2021, however likely to be extended
