4. Group/ Division Developmental Biology Group 

5. Qualifications Essential: 

(i) Research Associate (RA): Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree MVSc/M.Pharm/M.E/M.Tech; with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Experience: 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience 

* In case no candidate is found suitable for RA position appointment of SRF/JRF shall be considered. 

(ii) Senior Research Fellow: Qualification Prescribed for JRF. Experience: 2 years of research experience. 

(iii) Junior Research Fellow: Master Degree with 60% marks in any discipline in Biological Sciences or Pharmaceutical Science or Chemistry. Applicant must be qualified in any one of the CSIR/UGC/ICMR including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) OR GATE. National Level examinationp DST, DBT, DAE,DOS,DRDO,MHRD,ICAR,ICMR,IIT, IISc., IISER etc. tests. 

Desirable: Experience in animal handling 

6. Monthly stipend RA - Rs.47000/- consolidated, SRF – Rs.35000/- Consolidated, JRF- Rs.31000/- consolidated 

7. Age limit (as on date of interview) 

i) Research Associate: a) Upto 35 years. b) Age relaxation of upto 5 years (Upto 40 years) for SC/ST/Differently abled/women candidates. c) 3 years (Upto 38 years) for OBC (Non-creamy layer). ii) Senior Research Fellow: a) Upto 32 years. b) Age relaxation of upto 5 years (Upto 37 years) for SC/ST/Differently abled/women candidates. c) 3 years (Upto 38 years) for OBC (Non-creamy layer). iii)Junior Research Fellow: a) Upto 28 years. In case of JRF candidates upto 31 years (28+3 years for activation as per JRF guidelines). b) Age relaxation of upto 5 years (Upto 33 years) for SC/ST/Differently abled/women candidates. c) 3 years (Upto 31 years) for OBC (Non-creamy layer).
