It is proposed to fill-up following position as per details below purely on temporary basis under the time bound DST Funded Project running in this Institute. 

Name of Project Improvement in productivity of harvested rainwater in traditional water harvesting structures of arid region through integration of horticulture and agro forestry system 

1) Name of Post Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 

a. No. of Post 01 

b. Emoluments Rs. 31000 + HRA (as admissible) 

c. Qualification Postgraduate degree in Botany or postgraduate degree in professional courses with any branch of Agricultural sciences or Horticulture or Forestry selected through process described by any of following: 

• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE 

• The selection process through Nationa level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their agencies and institution such as DST, DBT, DAE,DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER et. Candidates must have cleared NET. 

d. Desirable qualification 

I. Specialization in Horticulture / Agronomy / Soil Science 

II. Experience in laboratory work: physico-biochemical / fruit quality / nutrient analysis. 

III. Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis tools 

e. Age Limit The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years as on the date of walk- in- interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically handicapped candidates, as per rules) 

f. Duration and other conditions The posts are purely temporary and can be terminated any time without assigning any reason / on the basis of performance. The positions are for a maximum period up to November 2023. Further, the positions are co-terminus with the project and either due to expiry of project or non-availability of funds anytime. (Purely Temporary) 

g. Date of walkin-interview 10.08.2021 at 11.00 A.M.
