NIMHANS is conducting WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the post of “Project Assistant”on contract basis
for the SKAN funded project entitled “Genetics of bipolar disorder and related illnesses: a study of
intermediate alleles in candidate genes with repeat expansion loci” under Dr.Sanjeev Jain, Senior
Professor, Department of Psychiatry& Principal Investigator.
Qualification Candidates should possess at least one of the following options of
qualification:
a) Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with any National level
entrance exam qualification
OR
b) Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B-Tech) in
Biotechnology or equivalent degree with any National level
entrance exam qualification
OR
c) Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (M-Tech) in
Biotechnology or equivalent.
Maximum Age Limit 30 Years
Emoluments Rs.32,500/- per month (Consolidated)
Duration 6 months.
The appointment is contractual for the period of 6 months, with
extension upto the term of the project with annual revaluation
and renewal.
The desirous candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above are advised to appear straight
away before the interview (Written test cum Skill test) Board at the venue mentioned below, along with
their Bio-data and testimonials in original as well as set of photo-copies.
Candidates will be selected
based on the performance in the Written cum Skill Test on the day of Walk-In Interview.
The candidates should register their names half an hour before commencement of the written test.
Venue: Committee Room, Adjacent to Registrar’s Office Administrative Block, NIMHANS.
