Vacancy for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 2 Posts
Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates for the post of JRF in the following projects.
1. Elucidation of the role of long noncoding RNA - Ginir as a biomarker in lung tumorigenesis (DBT-funded grant)
2. Elucidating the role of circular RNA in the pathogenesis of small cell lung cancer (SERB-funded grant)
Department/Institute: Dept. of Medical Oncology (Lab), Dr. B.R.A.I.R.C.H., AIIMS, New Delhi.
Nature of Appointment: The appointment is TEMPORARY till the duration of the projects.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 + 7,440.00 (24% HRA) = Rs. 38,440.00 per month
Eligibility: Masters (M.Sc or M.Tech) in any branch of life sciences/biotechnology with ≥60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Preference will be given to CSIR NET-LS or GATE qualified candidates.
Desirable Qualifications: Hands-on experience of animal cell culture, processing of human tissue and blood samples, and knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA purification, qPCR, and immunoblotting.
Proficiency in computers is highly desirable.

• Initial recruitment will be for six months. Then, based on progress monitored by PI, recruitment will be renewed or terminated.

• Hostel accommodation is not available for the JRF. The candidate has to arrange their accommodation.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
