Inviting applications for one JRF position in DBT, Govt. of India funded project
Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled
“Understanding the mechanisms of resistance to sucking pest, Helopeltis theivora and
development of microbe-based bioformulation against major tea pests” funded by
Department of Biotechnology (NER-BPMC), Govt. of India (Sanction no. -
BT/PR24618/NER/95/779/2017) under the supervision of Dr. Dipankar Chakraborti,
Department of Genetics, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700 019.
Date and Time of Interview: Date and Time of Interview will be intimated to the eligible
candidates through email.
Eligibility Qualification: M. Sc. in Life Science, Genetics, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology,
Neuroscience, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology or allied subjects.
Candidates must be
CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE qualified or equivalent.
Duration of project: 1 year (extendable for another 2 years on availability of funds)
Fellowship: As per DBT, Govt of India Regulations
No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
