Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the following position. 

Junior Research Fellow

Project: “Understanding the genetic basis of hearing loss using zebrafish model” (Funded by SERB) 

PI: Dr. P V Ramchander 

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA 

Eligibility & Selection: Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or related subjects (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry /Genetics/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics) with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point (relaxation will be as per Govt. guideline) are eligible to apply. 

Candidates should have qualified national level exam such as NET/LS-NET/GATE/GPAT/BET. Candidate with knowledge and experience in genetics or bioinformatics or cell culture or molecular biology techniques will be given preference. 

Age Limit: The candidate should be below 28 years in age, as on 22.04.2022. An age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.
