Advertisement for Student Intern in SERB Funded Research Project
Applications are invited from interested candidates for Student Intern (1 No.) at the Department of
Epidemiology and Public Health, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Tamil Nadu for a
Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded Core Research Grant
(No.CRG/2018/002803).
Project Title: Molecular characterization of the Cytochrome C Oxidase complex in Plasmodium
falciparum
Assistantship: Rs. 5,000/- p.m.
Duration: Two months (preferably between July-September, 2022)
Essential Qualifications:Currently as Post Graduate Student in life Science or Under Graduate Student in Engineering
Desirable: Final year students of Life sciences / Microbiology / Molecular biology
Nature of Work: PCR and construction of plasmids, Yeast culturing and assays, Protein isolation
and characterizations
Selection: Candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications are encouraged to apply online.
Process Based on academic merit, skills and research experience, 5-10 candidates will be
shortlisted for attending online interview. The date of the interview will be informed
through email, only to the shortlisted candidates. The decision of the selection
committee is final.
