Educational Qualifications:
Senior Project Assistant (Technical): B.Tech/B.E/AMIE and Equivalent OR Technical
Diploma (3 Years Duration) in Computers/IT with 5 Years relevant work experience
OR
Graduate
Degree in Biological/Physical/Chemical Sciences with 5 years of relevant work experience. The
candidates should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’.
Job description: The candidate will be involved in benchmarking of various NGS data analysis
and molecular simulation software. Standardization of optimum resource requirement and
user support will be a major task. The candidate will also coordinate with data
compilation team and IT team for development of dashboards and portals.
Desirable: Relevant work experience must be in scientific data analysis and software
development in research projects in the areas of Chemical Biology
/Biochemistry/Computational Biology/Structural Biology/Bioinformatics/Information
Technology/Biotechnology. Strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience in
usage/development of bioinformatics software is highly desirable.
Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per
Institute rules, depending upon qualifications & experience:
Rs. 35,400/- per month plus 24% HRA (As per IIT Delhi OM No. IITD/IRD/M-038/187849
dated 04.07.2018).
