Recruitment for the post of Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a research project, entitled “Synthesis and characterization of carbon nanoparticles as a potent immune-therapeutics regimen for ovarian cancer and zirconium phosphate nanobiocomposite films to enhance the success rate of bone implants in tissue engineering” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), Govt. of Gujarat.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to enroll in a regular Ph.D. program.
Details of qualifications, emolument and duration of the project:
Name of the position Junior Research Fellow (1 position)
Eligibility Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc. (Biotechnology, Biochemistry/Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Life Science).
Desirable Qualifications:
-NET//CSIR-JRF/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred
-Candidates having experience in cancer biology, basic Nanotechnology, Cell Culture and Animal handling techniques will be given preference.
-Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing
-Candidates looking for the institutional Ph.D. program will be preferred.
Age limit Up to 28 years on the closing date of advertisement (Age relaxation will be given as per GSBTM Govt. of Gujarat rules)
Duration 3 years or the end of the project whichever is earlier Fellowship (As per GSBTM norm)
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month
