NAARM Hyderabad Research Associate Walk IN

ICAR - National Academy of Agricultural Research Management 

Hyderabad – 500 030, Telangana

Walk-In-Interview will be held on 16/12/2022 at this Academy at 09.30 A.M. for engagement of Research Associate – one (01 position) & Office Assistant – one (01 position) on contract basis (purely temporary) to work under Project on National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) : project “Investments in Indian Council of Agricultural Research Leadership in Agricultural Higher Education”. The eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions for the position are as under.

Emoluments Rs.49,000/- per month + HRA (for Master Degree holders) or Rs.54,000/- per month + HRA (for Ph.D. Degree holders) 

Duration Upto 31st March, 2024 or till termination of the project. Duration of engagement can be curtailed / extended as per need and subject to performance of the candidate 

Upper Age Limit Men 40 years & Women 45 years as on date of walk-in-Interview (The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC / ST/ OBC/ Divyang / PH / Ex-Servicemen/etc as per Govt.of India rules) 

Essential Qualification Ph.D in Agriculture / Horticulture / Veterinary / Fishery / Dairy Science Or Master Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Veterinary / Fishery / Dairy Science with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / Other engagements as circulated vide F.No.2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated (≥4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019. 

Desirable Qualifications 

1. Published research papers in NAAS (6 & above rated) Journals 

2. Experience in data collection, organization / management, analysis 

3. Experience in documentation / compilation for reports preparation / science communication 

4. Working knowledge in computers 

Mode of Engagement Purely on Contract (Temporary) basis co-terminus with the project. 

The House Rent Allowance (HRA) The House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be given as per existing Central Government rates applicable in various cities / locations where SRF / RA are working in ICAR funded projects.
