Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the following contractual posts under the collaborative
project entitled “Development of steel slag-based cost effective eco-friendly fertilizers for
sustainable agriculture and inclusive growth” up to October 2024 or co-terminus of the project
whichever is earlier on purely contractual basis at the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region,
Umiam.
The eligible candidates are requested to send their duly filled application in the enclosed Proforma
along with complete scanned copy of the original documents through email in one time to
rameshssac@yahoo.co.in on or before 24th December, 2022.
Application received after due date will not
be considered for screening. The original documents of the candidates will be verified at the later stage.
After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed by email or over phone
for further details regarding the interview (Physical mode) and procedure (i. e. date, time and the interview
venue) via email or phone.
The tentative Interview date is scheduled on 30th December, 2022 from 10.30
AM onwards.

Essential qualifications DSRE B.Sc. (Agriculture /
Horticulture/ Forestry
/Chemistry/Microbiology).
Desirable qualifications
Experience in analysis of soil physical, chemical, biological properties and plant nutrients.
Preference will be given to
the experienced candidates
Terms & Conditions: -
1. Place of posting shall be at Complex Hqs., Umiam.
2. The positions are purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project/organization without
any provision for regularization.
3. The person employed will have no right to claim employment or engagement in ICAR at the end
of the contract period.
4. Persons already in employment should submit ‘No Objection Certificate' from their present employer.
5. The candidates should submit the documents such as Educational Qualification, certificate mark
sheets from HSLC onwards and experience certificate etc. for verification.
6. Emolument payable is consolidated Rs. 25,000/- per month for Young Professional-I
(YP-I). No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid to the YP-I.
7. The age limit for YP-I should be from 21-45 years with relaxation as per rules.
8. The Director/ PI reserve the right to cancel/ postpone the interview without assigning any reason
thereof.
9. Applicant who does not submit their bio-data in the prescribed application form will be rejected.
