KFRI Wildlife Biology Project Assistant Walk IN

A walk-in interview to fill the post of  Project Assistant to join a time-bound research programme on "Otters outside Protected Areas: population assessment & Conflict mitigation through stakeholder participation” will be held at 10.00 am onward on 20 January 2023, at KFRI . Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original.

Project Assistant (1)

Project No.  KFRI- GOK RP 853/2022 "Otters outside Protected Areas: population assessment & Conflict mitigation through stakeholder participation”

Duration     :    Two Years ( up to 22-12-2024)

Essential qualification 1. First Class Graduation degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences.

2. Minimum one year experience in wildlife related field research.

Desirable qualification

1. Experience in field data collection on vertebrates, human-wildlife interactions, fisheries etc.

2. Higher educational qualifications wildlife Science/Wildlife Biology. 

3. Knowledge in computer applications

Fellowship: Rs. 19000/- 

Age As on 01/01/2023 - 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.
