Applications are invited to attend walk in interview at Division of Entomology, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi - 110012. The posts are purely on contractual basis. Eligible candidates are requested to attend the interview in person on April 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM with their application in the enclosed Proforma, original documents along with self-attested copies. Project Title: Studies on thermal stress vis-à-vis reproductive physiology in invasive fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith) 

Period: 2022-25 

PI: Dr. Sagar D (sagar@iari.res.in) 

Junior Research Fellow (1 position) 

Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA @ 24% 

Essential: Post graduate degree in Entomology/Zoology /Life Sciences with NET qualification or equivalent (As per DST office memorandum F. No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019) 

Desirable: Candidates with research experience in reproductive physiology of insects and knowledge of molecular biology tools with data analysis. 

Project Title: Baseline sensitivity of Flupyrimin 10% SC against brown plant hoppers (Nilaparvata lugensBPH) and white backed planthopper (Sogatella furcifera-WBPH) in paddy (Period: One Year) (rajna@iari.res.in) 

Young ProfessionalII (1 position) 

Rs. 35,000 (Consolidated) 

Essential: Post graduate degree in Entomology/Zoology /Life Sciences 

Desirable: At least one year research experience in Entomology and knowledge in biochemical and molecular biology tools
