Application are invited for the engagement of one Project Associate (PA)- I with a fellowship amount of Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month in a research project funded by SERB, Govt. of India entitled “Transcriptomic analysis of betel vine (Piper betle L.) for identification of genes involved in phenylpropanoid metabolism in response to Phytophthora parasitica”.
Applications in the prescribed proforma along with CV, scanned copies of marksheets and certificates from 10th to Post graduation and CSIR- UGC NET/GATE qualification should be sent by candidates through email to punam.lifescience@gmail.com on or before 15.04.2023 with the subject line of the e-mail "Application for PA- I post in SERB project". Screening of applications will be carried out and only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview as per schedule to be informed by email or SMS. The selection through interview will be purely provisional and subject to verification of original documents. The engagement is purely temporary and coterminous with the project and bound by the terms and conditions of SERB, Govt. of India.
The candidates should be M. Sc. Botany/ Biosciences/ Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology (with 55% and above) and must have qualified JRF/NET/GATE.
The upper age limit shall be 35 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).
The candidates with experience in the area of bioinformatics, plant physiology and biochemistry, molecular biology, plant tissue culture or related field will be preferred.
All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GoI rules.
No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview.
