ICT Mumbai SRF Vacancy on Production of Recombinant Proteins

Applications are invited for the post of 'Senior Research Fellow' 

Project Title : "Development and Evaluation of Affordable Biotherapeutics for Gaucher Diseases" 

Sponsor : DST 

Principle Investigator Dr. Ratnesh Jain 

Essential Qualifications: Masters in Biotechnology or equivalent with 2 years of experience

Experience and Desirable : genetic engineering, transfection, gene expression, clone development, CHO cell engineering 

Fellowship : Rs.44,450/- Per Month (incl. HRA)    

Duration : 36 Months. Initial Appointment for 6 Months and can be extended based on performance and fund availability. 

Job Description : The project would involve clone development for production of recombinant protein in CHO cell line, upstream and downstream process development. 

The candidate will work in collaboration with Tranalab Bengaluru.
