Mizoram University Project Openings on Medicinal/Aromatic Plants

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate-1 (RA-1) (01 No.) and Research Assistant (01 No.) in the project entitled as “Development of a database for authentication of medicinal plants abundance in the protected forests of Mizoram” sponsored by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, New Delhi. The duration of the project will be for three years. The following details will help the interested candidates to decide for attending the interview. 

1. Research Associate-1 (RA-1)

Fellowship @ Rs.47000/- +8% HRA p.m. for 3 Years

Ph.D. degree in HAMP/Botany; and the candidate having Research experience on Medicinal and Aromatic plants with hands on spectroscopy instrument is desirable.

2. Research Assistant 

Fellowship @ Rs.16000/- p.m. (consolidated) for 3 Years

1st class in M.Sc. in HAMP/Botany/Forestry with experience of Medicinal and Aromatic plants with herbarium preparation is desirable.

Procedures for Interview:

The shortlisted candidates will inform for interview through email. It will be conducted online/offline or blended mode in the Department of Horticulture, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants (HAMP), Mizoram University, Aizawl- 796004.

General Terms and Conditions:

 The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.

 All the original certificates should be produced for verification.

 No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
