Applications are invited to attend walk-in interview for one post of Project Assistant as per
the details given below under the Kerala State Biodiversity Board Project titled “Collection
and Database Creation of Important Named Landraces of Tuber Crops from Southern
Districts of Kerala”.
The written test (for short listing only)/ interview will be held at ICARCentral Tuber Crops Research Institute, Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram-695017 on 24th May
2023 at 10.00am.
Duration : Initial appointment is till March 2024, which may be
extendable until the completion of the project, solely based
on performance.
Essential qualification : Degree in Botany / allied subjects with at least 2 years
experience in exploration, collection, field maintenance and
data recording of crops preferably tuber crops. Computer
knowledge, data documentation and photographic skills are
preferred.
Nature of work : Survey for the germplasm of tuber crops in the southern
districts of Kerala, conduction of exploration trips,
collection of germplasm, labelling, data recording, database
creation, photo documentation and field maintenance
Salary : Rs. 15000/- per month (Consolidated)
Age limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years.
