Project description:
It has been proved that genetic factors determine the susceptibility to various infectious diseases and
their clinical courses upon infection. The proposed project aims to understand mechanisms of
tuberculosis susceptibility and drug resistance emergence in the northeast region of India using multipronged approach. Research focus will include study of host genomics and functional genomics as well
as critical assessment of clinical parameters.

A walk-in interview is being organized to meet the objectives of the project.
• The date of walk-in interview is 19th June 2023 starting from 11:00AM.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Following documents are required at the time of interview:
1. Curriculum Vitae along with reprints of publications, if any
2. One Passport- size coloured Photograph
3. Original along with one set of Self-Attested Copies of Certificates of Educational
Qualifications
4. Original along with Self-Attested Copies of Experience Certificates
5. Original and Self-Attested Copies of Govt. issued Photo ID proof.
6. Original and Self-Attested Copies of the proof of the selection through any national level
exam (in case of JRF Only).
Applicants are requested to report at NIBMG at lease half an hour before starting of the
Interview.
The decision of NIBMG in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application,
mode of selection, and conduct of interviews will be final and binding on the candidates. In
exceptionally meritorious cases, the eligibility requirements may be relaxed by the competent
authority.
