About The Topic
Molecular Phylogeny is a branch of taxonomy which predicts the ancestral relationship/evolutionary history of a group of organisms by comparing & analyzing their biological macromolecules .i.e. DNA, RNA and Proteins.
The Molecular Phylogenetics not only became an indispensible tools to deduce evolutionary relationship among organisms but also it has wide range of application in various field of science such as: Applied Forensic, in identifying origin of epidemic diseases and insight about evolution of protein structure and functions , origin and migration of various life form around the world. Molecular Phylogenetics usually involves rigorous analysis of Biological macro-molecules by various bioinformatics algorithm to deduce meaningful scientific insight , ultimately help us to develop new hypothesis.
The Molecular Phylogenetics has became one the central area of Bioinformatics and it is very useful for professionals from all field of life science.

How extract meaningful information from a phylogenetic tree.

Day-1
4th June(Sunday) 8 AM to 11 AM
Theory session: Concept and method of Molecular Phylogenetics
Hands-on session: Retrieving sequence of phylogenetic markers from sequence database for phylogenetic study and construction of MSA.
Complete phylogenetic Analysis using MEGA, from tree construction to validation using various methods
Day-2 5th June 23 7 PM to 9.30PM
Hands-on- session:
Using Bayesian Phylogenetics Tools(Mr.Bayes, RxML, Beast (any two tools) and interpretation of resut.
Day-3 : 6th June
7 PM to 9 PM
Doubt clearing and validation session

In this Online Workshop, there will be a LIVE trainer who will solve queries along with training.
Participants should have windows system for smooth learning as the demonstration will be given on windows system only

The certificate will be issued as per the details which you will provide in the registration form while registering before payment.

The registration is NON-REFUNDABLE but TRANSFERABLE upon request from participant with proper reason.
