Training Theme

“Our microbiomes have a fundamental role in many host processes and diet is a key factor impacting the composition and function of these microbial communities. This workshop will decipher the latest research on the microbiome and nutrition and discuss how our microbiota use and transform dietary components, and how these nutrients and their products influence host health throughout life. It will also give you a hands-on experience of the tools and skills used in microbiome research including DNA extraction, making libraries, sequencing demo and analysis. We will also cover culinary aspects of food for microbiome in our new research kitchen.

Students, Faculty & Scientists from Academia, Industries including Lifesciences, BAMS, MD/MS Programmes Ayurveda Biology, Computers, Medicine, Food Technology, Nutrition Agriculture, Veterinary, Environmental Science and any other disciplines
