NOTIFICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF ONE TEMPORARY RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the position of Research Technician in
Department of Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University on
purely temporary basis for a period of 179 days.
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 60 % Marks and one year research experience in the
relevant field from a recognized institute/organization.
Desirable Qualification:
1. Candidates with experience in maintenance of laboratory, preparing analytical reagents
with accurate and precise skills & maintenance of lab stocks and department office.
2. Experience in RNA isolation, PCR technique & other biochemical assays.
3. Practical knowledge in MS Office
Monthly emoluments : Rs.12,000/- per month
Duration : 179 Days
Mode of selection : Written test followed by an interview
