Walk-in-Interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow
Applications are invited on plain paper along with detailed CV for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in
a project entitled " Understanding the molecular basis of selective transport of silicon and arsenic
by modulating Nodulin 26-like Intrinsic protein 2-1 (NIP2-1) in rice (Oryza sativa)" File no.
CRG/2019/006599 sponsored by DST-SERB, purely on temporary basis.
The details of the post are as follows:
Age limit: Upper age
limit is 32 years on the
last date of application
with age relaxation as
per Govt. rules.
Rs. 35,000/- + 9%
HRA according to
terms and
conditions as per
the DST-SERB,
Govt. of India.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
in any discipline of
Life Sciences/
Biochemistry/Microbi
ology/Biotechnology/o
ther relevant subjects
and at least 2 years of
post-Masters’ degree
research/teaching
experience
Desirable Qualification: Relevant Research
experience in plant
molecular biology,
plant transformation,
plant genome editing
or computational
biology.
Mandatory for the interview: Candidates fulfilling above requirements must essentially bring:
• CV mentioning: full details of academic qualifications, research experiences, telephone/mobile
number, e- mail address, names and contact details of references familiar with candidate’s
qualifications and achievements etc.
• original and attested copies of relevant documents and
• passport size photographs at the time of interview.

Biotechnology, Central University of Haryana, Jant-Pali, Mahendergarh, Haryana-123031.
Note:
1. The above post is purely temporary for sanctioned project and duration.
2. No T.A/D.A or any other allowances will be
paid for attending the interview.
3. Fellowship may be terminated at any time in case of any misconduct, unsatisfactory research
work, or if fellow is found ineligible later.
4. The rules and regulations of CUH and/or the DST-SERB will be applicable on the
selected candidate.
