Applications are invited on prescribed format (On-line) for the temporary post of "Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for the Project entitled “Two stage treatment of household laundry wastewater for recycle and reuse.” Selected candidate may enroll in Ph.D Programme in the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela based on Institute norms and regulations.

7. Job Description To carry out the research work (Experimental), on design and set up a two stage water treatment system consists of clariflocculator and constructed wetland integrated with microbial fuel cells.
Scope to enroll as a Ph. D. Scholar in Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering (has to satisfy Institute / Department Eligibility Criteria)
8. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship Rs. 31,000/- + 16%HRA (as per norms) for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 35000/-+16 HRA for 3rd year
9. Essential Qualifications and Experience First class in M. Tech in Biotechnology/ Chemical/Biochemical/Bioprocess/Civil/ Environmental Engineering with GATE or NET Or First class in M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Environmental Science & GATE or NET or NET-JRF
10. Desirable Qualifications / Exp. Valid NET / GATE Score.
11. Age As per Institute Norms.
12. Accommodation Bachelor / Married accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
