Applications are invited from eligible candidates (JRF) who have very high motivation to pursue Biomedical research, for the Two PhD positions under Prof. Shailendra Saxena, Centre for Advanced Research, Faculty of Medicine, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.

and may send their Resume including a passport size photograph with details of marks secured in all subjects from 10^th class with proof, full postal address, Gender, date of birth, publications etc. by email (kgmucfar1@gmail.com), in case they want to pursue Ph.D. under me. If they get selected in KGMU Ph.D. Course Entrance Examination 2023, then only they can pursue Ph.D. in my lab. 

Essential Qualification (in my lab): A Master's degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or equivalent (M.Tech, M.Pharma, M.Sc.) WITH A VALID NATIONAL LEVEL FELLOWSHIP (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies e.g. CSIR, UGC, DST, DBT, ICMR etc.) INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowship. 

Desirable (in my lab): Experience in Stem Cell/ Cell Culture, Molecular Biology (NGS, Micoarray, RT-PCR etc.), Virology etc. Prior research experience of working in a cell and molecular biology lab with training in cell culture and basic cell biology techniques such as protein/RNA extraction, NGS, PCR, Western blotting, cytometry, immunostaining and microscopy etc. is desirable, with publication. Advance knowledge of using computers for data analysis and record keeping is required.
