MAHE Manipal Assistant Professor Vacancy in Biotherapeutics/Biopharma Research

Assistant Professor 

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, an Institute of Eminence Deemed to be University, invites applications from the eligible candidates across the globe for the faculty positions to work at the Manipal Centre for Biotherapeutics Research (MCBR). MCBR is a newly established research centre located in MAHE campus at Manipal, India, carrying out innovative research, process, product and IP development to develop biological therapeutics mainly in the areas of cell, gene, protein and nano/biomaterials. The mission of this centre is to carry out cutting edge research in the area of biotherapeutics mainly in collaboration with global Biopharma Companies. 

We are looking for exceptional candidates who will develop and lead high-impact research with external funding and establish partnerships with leading biopharma companies.

Applications are also invited from Indian nationals [including Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs)] and foreign nationals. 

Eligibility: 

 PhD with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree (in terms of grades) and a good academic record throughout. 

 Preference will be given to the candidates with postdoctoral research experience in Academia/Industry, having high impact publications/patents in the area of biotherapeutics/biopharma research. 

 A minimum of three years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience, excluding the experience gained while pursuing PhD. (Candidates with lesser experience will be considered only incase of exceptional experience/publications/patents in the area of biotherapeutics/biopharma research)
