THE EKALAVYA-IGNITE TRAVEL GRANT APPLICATION 

WE ARE NOW CONSIDERING APPLICATIONS FOR THE OCT to DEC 2023 WINDOW. 

FOR THE JAN-MAR 2024 travel window, the application window will be in OCTOBER 2023

Anyone can apply but preference will be given to those who (1) are from smaller institutes/universities. (2) are giving platform presentations and (3) who are willing to accept part funding or funding less than INR 1 L

This is a travel grant provided to doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees in the life science in non-profit Indian academic and research institutions. This grant is available throughout the year until the funds available are exhausted. The grant money will be disbursed against actual expenses incurred. Notification of acceptance of  presentation from the meeting organizers must be submitted. Preference will be given to attendance in small and selective meetings (e.g. Gordon Conference/Keystone/EMBO etc.).
