Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate-II to actively work on the project entitled “Investigating the differential defense responses in wild and domesticated chickpea and natural variants of Arabidopsis.” on a purely temporary basis. Title of the Project: Investigating the differential defense responses in wild and domesticated chickpea and natural variants of Arabidopsis

Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications M.Sc/M.Tech in any branch of Biology or M.Sc. in Natural or Agricultural Sciences from recognized university with at least 2 years of research experience in Academia or in Industry 

Desirable experience, if any Experience in routine molecular biology techniques (gene isolation, cloning, and expression), bioinformatics analysis, chickpea plant transformation techniques, agroinfiltration experiments in plants, experience/knowledge about advanced genome editing tools. Experience working with Chickpea is added. Also, Project report prepration and Laboratory management skills 

Age limit* Up to 35 years on closing date of advertisement Consolidated emoluments per month 

I) INR 43400 including HRA (For those who have qualified GATE, CSIR/UGC-NET or equivalent exam 
II) INR 31,000 Including HRA for those who do not have aforementioned qualification No. of positions to be filled up One (1) Interview Date 29.09.2023 (online mode)
