Vacancy for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from motivated candidates for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT-funded ad-hoc research grant on “Elucidation of the role of long noncoding RNAs as a biomarker in lung tumorigenesis” in the Dept. of Medical Oncology, IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow – One Post
Nature of Appointment: The appointment is TEMPORARY till the duration of the project (August 2024).
Salary: Rs. 31,000 + 7,440.00 (24% HRA) = Rs. 38,440.00 per month
Age Limit: Below 30 years on the last date of application with age relaxation as per Govt. of India norms.
Eligibility: Masters in any branch of life sciences/biotechnology with >60% marks or equivalent CGPA and CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualifications.
Desirable Qualifications: Hands-on experience in animal cell culture, processing of human tissue and blood samples, and knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA purification, qPCR, and immunoblotting.
Proficiency in computers is highly desirable.
