Assistant Professor in Plant Sciences 

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal an Institute of Eminence Deemed to be University,invites applications from eligible candidates for following faculty position at Manipal School of LifeSciences, Manipal - a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal. 

Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS) is an independent institute under aegis of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), established in the year 2006 and is one of the finest Life Sciences Institutes of the country. MSLS is a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. It is identified as TIFAC-CORE (Technology Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council - Centre of Relevance & Excellence) of the Government of India in the area of Pharmacogenomics. It actively promotes advanced research in India and abroad, supported by the Government of India funding agencies such as DBT, ICMR, DST, BRNS and the number of other industry partners.

Eligibility 

 Ph.D. in Plant Science/Botany/Biosciences/Biotechnology with research experience in Molecular Biology / Omics will be preferred. 
 Previous track record of high impact publications, patents, extramural funding, teaching and vision to align & grow with the Institute. 
 Industry experience will be an added advantage.
